Mobile Shelving and Mobile Pallet Racking make the very best use of available floor space by only requiring the area for a single ‘moving’ aisle to reach all of the racking. When compared to static shelving or pallet racking, which needs aisles adjacent to all shelf/rack positions, mobile storage is the best way to store the most in the smallest area, particularly where ‘all of the time’ and ‘all-round’ access to all shelves/racks is not a main priority.
A mobile system comprises shelving mounted on a series of mobile chassis moving in parallel on floor tracks. When a stored item is required, its location is identified and the mobile chassis are individually driven to open up a ‘moving aisle’ adjacent to the item's shelf position.
Mobile Shelving
Link 51 mobile shelving chassis have two drive options; manually assisted drive with hand wheel operation; or powered by on-board electric motors and press-button operation. A choice of different floor and track systems - selected depending on the location and size of the mobiles and their loading requirements - are available.
Link 51 offers a range of shelving and racking systems for varying loading and aesthetic requirements, all of which can be ‘mobilised’, mobile shelving is suitable for all hand-loaded storage applications, large or small, high or low.
Mobile Pallet Racking.
This system is controlled by a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and can operate in ambient, chilled or cold store environments. Operation is simple with chassis moving in a cascade sequence until the selected aisle is opened, all from a single push of a button. The system is powered by highly efficient, industry standard, electric motors for maximum reliability.
